Eyeshadow to make your eyes pop: blue eyes

To make your eye colour look more intense and enhanced, you basically use certain coloured eye shadow. Using the colour wheel, we can see that blue and orange are complimentary colours. This means they stand out when paired. So eye shadow colours for blue eyes would be orange, bronze, brown and gold shades. Another way of making your eyes stand out would be using a colour similar to your eye colour, so for me that would be blue colours. I will do another post showing how blue eyes pop with blue eye shadow but for now I leave you with my bronze/gold eyeshadow look :)
Products used:
MAC paint pot in Bare Study
Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer palette gold and bronze eyeshadows
MAC Fix+ Spray
Loreal eyeliner in brown
Maybelline Falsies mascara.
To make the eyeshadow more intense and pigmented, dip the brush in water or spray it with MAC Fix + spray and then use the eyeshadow.

Foundation for festivals & concerts

Earlier this year I was trying to find a really good foundation to wear to a festival that would last all day and night without smearing or going gross and fading. I couldn't find much and just gave up. So later on I was at an Estee Lauder counter trying on their foundations on my hand. I tried on Double Wear Maximum Cover and a couple others. So after a whole day of shopping, washing my hands and even showering I discovered that the Double Wear Maximum Cover was still on my hand and had not changed or worn off at all. I was really excited and went back the next day to purchase it.

This thing is like photoshop in a tube. It literally hides any blemishes or flaws and leaves you with perfect skin. This foundation may be too thick and heavy for some people, but I personally didn't find it to be too thick especially for a festival or concert. My favourite thing about DWMC is that it lasts for soooo long without moving or fading! I will come home after being out for 12 hours and it still looks the exact same. My only issue with this baby is that it does make my face look pale in photos with flash (like most foundations that contain a SPF). Overall, this is my all time favourite foundation for festivals and concerts, it has great coverage and lasts a crazy long time.

Here is me without makeup, as you can see I have freckles, pale skin and redness.

and here is me with the foundation and a bit of blush :)

So this is my first blog ever and it's all pretty new and strange to me.
Basically, I'm gonna be doing product reviews and all different make up looks, and potentially tutorials.
It's pretty late at the moment, but I might upload something tomorrow so my blog doesn't look so pathetic ahaha.
